Who is the BL Physio Team?
PAUL TREVETHAN (BPhty)
Paul has been problem-solving the body as a physio for over 20 years. He started BL Physio in 2002 with a dream of helping people get out of pain and achieve their goals. This expanded in 2011 to teach others how to support themselves and live a better quality of life through information. He is passionate about uncovering the body’s tightly held secrets and sharing them with the community.
Paul is the creator of SSTM® muscle management programs used both in the clinic as well as corporate injury prevention training throughout Australia. He is also the co-creator of the Running Injury Free Revolution (RIFREV) with William Wragg (50 marathons in 50 days), a project to provide a massive free resource for the running community to stay injury free for life.
Paul is a family guy. He dreams of showing others how to guide the body and help themselves, so one day they can show their kids a path to getting more out of life as well.
ANNA JOSTRAND (BPhty)
Anna grew up in Sweden, where she got involved in all kinds of mountain sports, skiing, rock climbing, skating and trail running. It was this love for all things active combined with a fascination for problem-solving the human body that inspired her to become a physio. Anna moved to Brisbane in 2010 where she completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at ACU.
Anna is passionate about helping her patients to get back to doing what they love and achieving goals. She enjoys the variation of private practice and has a special interest in treating athletes, runners, children, post-operative rehab and complex chronic pain patients. Anna uses a holistic approach, combining hands-on treatment, strength work, dry needling as well as empowering you on how to help yourself long term.
DAVID RONAN (BPhty)
David is from Ballarat in Victoria and a keen interest in sports as a youngster, particularly Aussie Rules, motivated him to move to Melbourne to study physiotherapy. After graduating, David stayed in Melbourne and developed his skills working in private practice as well as with a number of Sporting teams, both Aussie rules football and soccer. He then moved to the United Kingdom for two years where he was able to further his education working in the outpatient department of a number of large London hospitals, as well as enjoying some travel.
Happily back in Australia, David is enjoying helping his clients by combing quality hands-on treatment with structured rehabilitation programs and getting people back to their preferred activities as soon as possible.
KIERAN STORCH (BPhty)
As an avid triathlete, Kieran combines his first-hand experience of the three disciplines, swim, bike, run with his work as a Physiotherapist. With a running background, Kieran studied Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland where his sporting experience fuelled his study and clinical practice, particularly in the musculoskeletal field.
The many and varying patient goals are what drives Kieran’s work as a Physiotherapist. He strives to provide the best hands-on treatment and rehabilitation programs in order for his patients to achieve their goals be that return to sport or simply to be pain-free for life.
He is also a multi-champion! Notably, 2016 20-24 National Sprint Triathlon Champion, 2015 20-24 Duathlon World Champion, 2014 Open Noosa Triathlon Champion
